Aerial photography has proven to be a powerful asset to a wide variety of service and retail businesses in our area.  Lawyers have used it to illustrate their cases by showing hazard conditions on roads or construction sites.  Landscape Architects have used it to illustrate the beauty and symmetry of their completed projects.  Contractors have used it to show the scale and scope of their vision in a way that isn't possible if you were standing on the ground.

Barry Dowe Photography can help you show off that property you have for sale.  We can help you illustrate the progress you have made toward the completion of a project, or just show off that great new house you just bought, or the new addition you are building.

We offer affordable aerial photography for your business, your firm, or yourself.  The key to the effective use of aerial photography is to group together 2 or 3 sites that you would like photographed. Alot can be accomplished in the first hour of flight time.  Use this to your advantage and get more than one site shot.

• Fees are hourly. $250 for the first hour. $100 for each additional hour or portion thereof.
• The first hour includes all costs for the plane and pilot, photographer and film.
• Time is billed off of the aircraft's Hobbs meter. Time starts when the aircraft engine is started and ends when it is shut down.
• All flights originate from Waukegan Airport and terminate there as well. The first hour includes all costs for the plane and pilot, photographer and film.
• Aerial operations by this studio will be conducted according to FAA Flight Regulations. Under no circumstances will minimum safe altitudes be breached to facilitate a photograph.
• We fly fixed wing Cessna aircraft.
• It is the client's responsibility to provide a clear indication of where the site to be photographed is located.  A good road map works best.  "Mapquest" maps are not acceptable.

16X20-1st print $150.00 each add'l 16X20 $75.00.

11X14-1st print $75.00 each add'l 11X14 $40.00.

8X10-1st print $40.00 each add'l 8X10 $18.00.

Prints smaller than 8X10 are the same price as 8X10, both 1st print and additional print prices.

On Site Planning Meeting

We encourage a face to face meeting to discuss the logistics of your photo shoot. We charge $25.00 for this meeting. Without such a meeting we cannot guarantee to be able to locate a particular site from the air.

Additional Rolls of Film

If more than one roll of film is necessary, you will be charged at the rate of $32.00 for each additional roll that we use. Of course this price includes the cost of the proofs.
